Welcome
Colourspell is an easy to play spelling game designed to help young children learn the sounds of letters and make up words using colours. Used by thousands of children worldwide, this simple, yet highly effective game is played time and again by children aged from 3 years and up. The DEMONSTRATION game is free to use as many times as you want. There are 3 levels, each with 3 games, each with 16 words. Level 1 the starter level comprises of 3 letter words with sound, Level 2 comprises of 4 letter words and Level 3 uses more difficult words with sound all of which uses all the letters of the alphabet and provides a total 144 words to learn and play.

Level 1
Each word consists of 3 letters, providing a phonetic word with audio which speaks the word
There are 3 sets of games totalling 48 three letter phonic words. The game starts as a colour matching game - only the correct letter remains in place making it impossible to make an incorrect word.

Level 2
Each word consists of 4 letter, phonetic words, each with audio which speaks the word
There are 3 sets of games totalling 48 four letter phonic fresh words with more examples of consonants being used in different orders. Stretching the childs vocabulary and knowledge of words.

Level 3
This level consists of words with new combinations of letters and sounds, accompanied by audio.
There are 3 sets of games totalling 48 four letter complex phonic words. Children will now have used all the letters in the alphabet. They will be familiar with most of the sounds we use in language and the letters we use to achieve this.
